The Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI) is the only trade association in Colorado dedicated exclusively to the Business Brokerage industry. Our Broker Members are Licensed Colorado Real Estate Brokers who help buyers and sellers of owner-operated and professionally managed businesses, which comprise Main Street Business Brokerage and Lower Middle Market transactions. Business brokerage brings together a special combination of skills including valuation, marketing, negotiation, contracts, accounting, financing, exit planning, financial planning and business coaching.
CABI’s annual schedule includes an annual full-day conference, a winter meeting and a fall meeting, all of which are held in the Denver Metropolitan area. Attendees include Business Brokers as well as industry professionals, such as attorneys, accountants, lenders, valuation specialists and business coaches. We also hold special interest and networking events from time to time where members of the community are invited to attend. In addition, CABI offers educational courses of special interest to Business Brokers, including International Business Broker Association (IBBA) courses that have been approved by the Colorado Real Estate Commission for continuing education credit.
